Environmental Policy

It is the environmental policy of Rolawn Limited so far as it is reasonably practical to:-

  • Comply with all applicable environmental legislation.
  • Minimise the effect of our activities upon the environment.
  • Regularly review and seek to improve our environmental performance.

Policy is delivered by adhering to the following commitments:-

  • Create awareness of environmental responsibility throughout the company through the management chain.
  • Provide all employees with a copy of the environmental policy when they join the company.
  • Use and maintain plant and equipment to a high standard.
  • Ensure that storing, handling and transporting articles for use at work is done in a safe manner that also ensures that when properly used it will minimise risk to the environment.
  • Ensure complete information is made available to all relevant employees with respect to articles and substances used at work detailing the conditions and precautions needed to minimise risk to the environment.
  • Have a policy in place of reducing pollution emissions and waste of all types.
  • Have an on-going assessment of environmental impact of company activities.
  • Expect similar environmental standards from all suppliers and contractors.
  • Recycle pallets, ink cartridges and stationary items whenever possible.
  • Develop markets for recycled products whenever possible.
  • Pay close attention to environmental matters with regard to the local community.
  • Supply copies of this policy upon request.
